Charge TTI Longevity
on: June 26, 2015, 03:33:41 AM
Does anyone have a charge tti that has seen hell and made it back to tell the tale? I had a wave and was semi impressed but really think if I replace it it will be with a charge tti. There are thousands of pictures of the wave so let's see some pics of your worn in, beat down, run over, mud rusted covered, or exceptionally shiny Charge TTi.    Let the games begin. And may the odds ever be in your favor.

I've had my tti for 5 years or so. It's used everyday, and it's still going strong. I clean and oil it once in awhile. I just yesterday took it all apart and cleaned, oiled, and did a few mods and it feels like new again. To me anyway.

Mini Surge is 14 months old and it looks brand new and is going strong.
I don't have any great stories to tell but it helped out countless times.

Aside from the scales and knife blade there is very little difference between the two tools.

When I had my TTi I was the third owner and sold it to its 4th. :)

Mr Whippy's probably your man here. Although technically speaking, it's not gone to hell and back, but LM's repair department and back  :D I do know he's put his ALX through some real torture though, asking more of it than most of the rest of us would
