EZrider's March Madness WAVE Challenge Thread
on: February 28, 2016, 11:41:16 AM
Taking a leaf out of Top-Gear-24's book I am starting my thread a few days early.
Thanks to Obi1shinobee for the dare and a chance to show off my wave.
I too am handicapped by a phone camera (and a lack of photographic talent) but I am hoping to make up for that with enthusiasm.

Here is a pic of my EDC (the watch is part of my EDC and also a shameless plug for the Time Lord badge!):

Day 1: Early morning and my wave already made my life easier, opening this electrical control box with the key MIA!
A pair of pliers on the belt is worth two in the toolbox.

edit: not sure why the image rotates left but its does when I post!

Enthusiasm counts for quite a bit in my opinion.  Good luck with the challenge.

The image might be rotating because it's a little bigger than it should be.  Try opening your images in paint and reducing the size before you post.

Day 3: Along for the ride. A work tool to maintain a work bike.

I would love to have a bike like that .

I've been riding motorcycles since I turned 18 (back in '95), and before that I owned a Honda MT5 (50cc) which was a lot of fun.  But when I turned 18 I switched to roadbikes, like a Suzuki RG250 Walter Wolf, a Suzuki Bandit 600 N (which turned into a total loss after some lady decided to overtake a couple of cars while I was coming from the other direction  ::)), a Yamaha FZR-600R, and my last bike, a Kawasaki ZX9-R Ninja.

I've sold my bike when my second son was born, but it still itches from time to time ... And I know one thing, if I would buy myself a motorbike at this moment, it wouldn't be a "racebike" anymore, but I would go for one like yours (or simular from another manufacturer).  Back in the late 90's I rode my friends Honda XR-250R once, and it was huge fun, even though I rode a bike with five times more horsepower (my Ninja  :dd:), more horsepower does not necessarily mean more fun  ;).

Great pic mate  :tu:.

Thanks Top-Gear-24  :tu:

Road bikes are awesome but here in rural South Africa they are suicidal!
I have an XR 250 and it's a great machine as well as two of these 230 f bikes which we use for farm work.
I'm on the bike every day and I still love it!

Day 4: Had a little chain rub so a few adjustments before my ride.

So far I am really enjoying being forced to carry my wave  :D It's like being paid to do what you love.

What farm do you work on? Bikes, fresh air and open sky are a great combination!

I am a macadamia nut farmer so I spend a good chunk of my day outdoors.
It's a great life if you can do without first world safeguards.

This is a good thread EZ!  :tu:

I like that work bike, much more fun than the Trail 90 I used for orchard work years ago.  :)

We use the Honda bikes because of their incredible reliability.
