Need a hand sourcing a part
on: June 17, 2016, 01:43:59 AM
I've been looking for a 3/32" pin punch that fits into a 1/4" bit holder, and is at least an inch long. I've given up on finding, I'll have to make.

So what I'm looking for is a driver bit that has a long shank that is 2.5mm in diameter, maybe a little smaller, that I can cut the tip off. Does anyone know of a good donor?

what if you get a long phillips bit, and turn it down with a drill press and a metal file? it would take a bit of work but could be doable. maybe use a dremel grinding bit at the beginning to help speed the process up.

Lowes hardware. I have several of them. Maybe Home Depot as well.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?
