KHHI Cute Kukri + Wenger BO Evo 63 GAW

A while back when getting a KHHI Scourge & McCurdy knife made along came this brass "cute" paper knife. It wants a home. Probably best as a display item as the blade is hand crafted with brass, rosewood handle, a loose fitting sheath.

It's got a cho, KHHI mark, has a slight edge that's not sharp, but it could poke something. To me it's a knick knack, and could end up as a fishing weight. It's anything but serious.

So... here's the kicker... simple mathematics to win. Will ship this anywhere it's legal to send it. Any customs charges is on the winner however. I've never sent anything like this, and it does have some heft to it ... especially for it's size.

Add to numbers together and I'll pick the closest winner. In case of a tie, will find some other means to fairly choose a winner. And will post the elimination round if that should occur.
Am going my the honesty system here. Entrants should have at least 500 honest posts - not spammed. Prefer it to go to someone who's not won much of anything on MTO. They need to be an adult or have an adult enter them as the guardian. The normal terms apply.

Equation 1:
Had went on a camping trip. Didn't have a very good night's sleep. About froze that morning. Had the weirdest of dreams. Got up, stiff, sore, tired. Wanted to warm up, so chopped a 5 or 6 inch piece of semi-green fallen branch just below the knot. Including the few glancing blows, how many chops did it take me to cut through the log?

Oh yes, the answer is out there.

Equasion 2:
The night before I had to make fire. How long did it take me to actually create the fire? That answer will probably not be out there, so you'll actually have to guess. One hint, this was the second time I tried making fire out in the wilderness.

Figure out Equation 1 & Equation 2, add those together, and will see who came the closest. In the event of ties, I'll post the MTO members names and go on from there.

Oh, and please use the running count sorted by numbers then names. As in...

0912 - 56Ohcnop
4992 - Xelkos
5763 - Soklex
9999 - Skd

This will make it easier to find the winning number(s). Will end the guessing on the 21st about midnight-ish and either post the winner or go to an elimination round.

I'm not entering because I don't have the requisite 500 posts but I want to ask for a clarification for the others who want to enter. I assume (i know...) that you want the number of chops to chop through the branch written next to the number of minutes (?) it took to start the fire. So if it took you 10 chops and 53 minutes the prediction would be 1053. If you add them together the prediction would be 63. Do you want them to juxtapose the two numbers or truly add them together?

So if it took 10 chops + 5 hours to make a fire, 5 x 60 = 300 minutes. 10 + 300 = 310 would be an example guess.

Reason for this version is that if someone's going to come up with 2 figures and add them they might actually appreciate a hand crafted item that came from Kathmandu, Nepal.

And it will come wrapped in the same type of paper it arrived in. The paper is unusual, might make good fire starter material.

Guess I should add that it's maybe 7 inches in length. So one could use it as a Peter gauge.

It's a cute item. Might be good for lopping carrots, opening letters, standing next to a Crocodile Dundee action figurine. So far only one is even close.

Truth be told I gave it to my late mother who stashed it away in a purse, used to cut a steak once. Then was used as a crafting knife. More recently as a EDC. It's so light-weight in carry I put a lanyard on it - only to know it was still in the pocket. Would be a great blade to transfer to something else in orange scales on it.

The winner with have to get their own corkscrew screwdriver doohickey.
