I've received my prize from this GAW!

I'm chuffed as.

Also received some bonuses - I got the "other" doohickey on Offer from Niteize.

It's on my keyring now :)


As for the knife---Wow!

It's  heavier duty than I expected, whilst being exceptionally light, and almost unnoticable clipped to the pocket.

I'm not a huge user of Serrated blades - But I do do a bit of ropework, so it's already proven itself in that world, and while it probably won't make EDC for weekends, It'll definitely see some use about the place.

I looked this bad boy up online to see what the significance of the blade steel was (S35VN for anyone wondering) - and saw the price these things have! I had not realised what a generous GAW this was!

I hope you have not made me into a Spyderco fancier - I can't afford to pick up any more of these (but, if it's as good as it looks, I don't think I'll ever have to!)

I have a SE Native in S30V.  Its a really light yet tuff knife.  I have not sharpened it since getting it a few years ago.  I've cut everything from ropes to rubber air line with zero resistance.  I love the size and shape of this particular knife in hand. 

Glad you both are enjoying your prizes and again Demel  :salute: for such a great GAW.

I initially didn't pay attention when Demel offered the Native up that the blade was S35.  I hope Seamonster uses the heck out of it and can report back on how it holds up.

I'm also hoping he gives it a good beating. I carried it a few time with the Spirit X, but never really got a chance to really test it. Or use it for that matter. Great knife
