Flouted Corkscrews and Mini Screwdrivers?

Amici,
As I earlier posted, I recently picked up a mint NOS 1980's? Victorinox Champion with a flouted corkscrew. The issue I am encountering is that none of the mini screwdrivers that I have on hand and there's more than a few, seem to want to fit on the corkscrew.

Is this a common occurrence with the older models with this type of corkscrew? And if so, what's the work around?

But essentially I had to find an old mini screwdriver with the word "Pat" on it to fit.  But it is not a guarantee that it will fit, just a better chance of it.
