I haven't got a Signal yet and am.planning on it :tu: They both seem like good MTs to me and would also like to see a head to head of them  :like: I realize that they are both different animals but both are in the same family and that interests me

I will be in NYC/airport until January 3rd. They frown on any locking "flip open" blades when at any kind of tourist thing up there from what ive heard so I will probably have to carry a trad and something a little smaller like a compact or a cadet :/ I have a case russlock that I plan on carrying because it locks but theres no way in the world you can flip it open I may participate if I am allowed to leave it in the hotel room and carry a substitute those 3 days and still post a picture of the signal. If not there are no hard feelings!

Yeah!  Always interested in pictures!!
I would love to see the main blade comparison.

It's hard to compare them directly as one is for urban while the other is more for outdoor.

I am still thinking... The Signal is nice for outdoor but it's way tooooo expensive here.

Beside the cararbiner, there is nothing common between Signal and Skeletool.

I tend to agree with that, although when you are just looking at it the general layout is similar, just with the signal being heavier of course and with more tools. They are definitely two different tools with two different uses.

The Skeletool series has no fold out tools in handles.
I don't consider Signal as part of the series.
