Catman, Sharpdogs and the FeMail Man
on: October 01, 2007, 03:05:42 PM
Giddy as a schoolgirl again- the mail carrier just left after she dropped off some goodies for me- a silver Buck X-Tract from Felinevet and a ByrdWrench and some flashlights from EDCDepot.com!  Who says Mondays aren't awesome?

Have fun with the new toys!

Is Tim going to stock the X-Tract LED?

Tim and I have been discussing the possibility of adding multitools to his in stock offerings.  As it is right now, you can order just about anything from him- same with EDCDepot.  Email them with anything you want before shopping anywhere else.

I got a Gerber Triode, but that's a gift for someone else, so don't tell him (:P) and I also got a Gerber Infinity Ultra for myself since I've been after one for some time.  So far I like the Infinity, but I still prefer having a switch rather than twist it.  The tail switch does move a bit, so if you tighten it until it's on, then back off 1/4 turn you can activate it by pressing the tail in, but that's a momentary on, rather than turning it on fully.

Not a bad light for under $20 though.  It's got everything else I look for in a light- pocket clip, metal body, takes AA batteries... almost as nice as the Fenix L1P I have.
