This has bogus written all over it, except for the 5 year warranty sounds like Wenger may actually have made this. Still, I haven't seen anything like it before, anyone have any idea on this?

I own one of those.
It didn't made by Wenger at all - when I contact them (Wenger at Switzerland) few years ago they didn't know what I am talking about but then they checked with the American company / impoter they said it is part of the package that sold in the US:

The quality is medium.

Mine have sticker on the back saying: Wenger Handyman:

:o it's surprising they're associating themselves with something which isn't up to quality.

That looks a lot like what was a few years ago marketed as the Wenger Survival Card.It wasn't made by Wenger, and for some reason I want to say it was made by Toollogic.

+1, looks very much like the toollogic card design especially the blade.

It's a real fake...

My guess was Tool Logic as well, but I have never gotten a definitive answer on who made it.  During the "grasping at straws" era of Wenger, when they lent their name to just about anyone in hopes of keeping their heads above water, the marketing manager at the time ordered something like 100,000 of these cards to package with other knives or products.  Wenger is still sitting on a bunch of them today, with no desire to continue offering them.

So, it is a real Wenger (licensed) product, but it was not made by Wenger.

My lovely wife bought me one of these and I like it, no where near the quality of a Swisscard but the blade and signal mirrorare nice.

It rides in the secret pocket of my Tilley.

You have a Tilley?  That's interesting... why ever would you get one of those?
