Welsh, English and Scottish blood in me.  But as I was born and raised here in Scotland I'm more likely to sing "Flower of Scotland" than "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" or "Land of My Fathers".

Well I guess I'll add a bit about me. I'm mostly Irish and Dutch, with a wee bit of Scottish and Ukrainian thrown in for good measure.

I attended a wedding two weeks ago in Wales, and the joke de jour, was:

What do you call an Irishman that can't swim?

Answer: Welsh.
I used to come here a lot.

I'm predominantly of Welsh and Scottish ancestry...so much so that if I was a soldier on parade in Queen Victoria's army,I couldn't stand beside myself :D Also a large streak of English with Swiss,Swedish,German, and some Shawnee and Cherokee.
Can a non irish guy wear a kilt? Looks really comfortable and airy :D
Kilts aren't just for Celts. The only proper requirement is that you have the legs for them :D

Mine is so dull its unbelievable.  As far as I can tell English for several hundred years.  Furthest back we've got is Augustine Bee who died in 1589.  Its not even as if I have ancestors from all over the British Isles, Augustine was from Hough on the Hill, about ten miles from Newark  ::) :D

Neil

I think waaaaay back in my lineage my ancestors were from Prussia. But for the most part, I'm just a plain old white guy from the U.S.

Just watch a discovery channel feature, it really blows my mind that we came from one genetic gene pool, doesn't matter if you are from the middle east, asia, america etc we are all related.
