Zilla Jr Giveaway
on: May 01, 2009, 09:17:43 AM
Getting rid of the offensive Zillatool Jr in my drawer.

If any of you miscreants want it, persuade me.

Never been used for anything really, if I can find the sheath you can have that too.

!!! I'd love giving that a spin!

been eying it, but just got into multis and knives and just haven't been able to persuade myself to spend the cash on something so widely panned.

(my first tac folder, recently acquired, is a CRKT M16-13Z and I really love the flipper)

It'd be good for someone to enjoy it :)

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to put this on hold while I find the rutting thing.

Thank you, I like its shape, but I wouldn't trust it... too many holes in too many critical places :/

Be careful with that thing. Rogue Mulits should be dealt with properly. Here's the safest way to handle your predicament...

1) Lift it out of the drawer. Use tongs or an oven mit to avoid contact.

2) Carefully place it in a padded envelope and seal tightly.

3) Address the envelope to the nearest "Rogue Multi-Tool Disposal Center" (I'll PM you the address)

4) Put it in the mail box and count yourself lucky.

Many people have not fared as well as you when dealing with an angry young 'Zilla. One of it's cousins ate Tokyo y'know.

Exactly, no one can argue with that logic.  :pok: Now hand it over or I'll invite the Brits in to derail your thread.

thats one of two tools that you have reminded me of a afternoon project.  I need to take my zilla jr and try and straighten out the way the blade sits between the scales.  I bent it at work.  Didn't wreck it but definitely   tweaked it out of alignment.  The other is a Byrd knife the liner lock has some play in it.

The only thing the french are good for are fries and wine  :pok:

I would love to have a go at the CRKT, I've been very interested in their products and would love to give it a go to see the quality.  Theyre also one of the two main brands that I dont have yet, so this and a Bear and Sons will complete my collection......
oh wait....my collection will NEVER REALLY be complete, cause lord knows ill just keep buying more :D ::)

Thanks in advance for this, very kind of you mate :drink:

Live Action Photos!

(Taken with the iMac iSight camera, because I'm a goddamn pov)

If you're an Australian, these are one of those "Not imported because we're not a real country and don't deserve nice things" items.
I swiped these from old warehouse stock, they have not been for sale for a few years.

For what it's worth, the blades don't lock and are about 63mm Long (2.5") so legal as trousers.

Quality wise, they're not a cheap knock off, but nor are they first class. I'd give them maybe a 7 out of 10?. They cost about the Same as a LM Fuse if that's any help(But since they're from Europe, the Fuse is from the US, and everything in Australia costs a fortune, I'm not sure if any comparison can be made)

You say you've got a GITD one?  Send it this way chap.

:pok:  It'll be good for your soul :D

I promise not to use it on wolves or polar bears like some of the rabble round these parts, though I may have to dispatch some smurfing peacocks.  smurf they're louder than my youngest  :o

Found the Zilla J, so we're all good to go.

Dunc:
o< I have one of their GITD sailing knives myself, and it is neato (actually, it's in my pocket, cause you never know when SHARK!)

I'm not as in love with it as I could be, but there's not a great many decent sheepsfoot knifey's out there, so it'll do.

Mate, it's all in the reading of it.
Sure, it looks like I'm making two people happy, but what I'm actually doing is making the rest of them sad. (And I'm not using some bizarre number pattern, or first person to guess my ferret's name system, so they'll know damn well I didn't choose them on purpose!)

The Wichard is also potentially quite dangerous. It too should be shipped immediately to the "Rogue Multi Tool Disposal Center".(I'll PM you the address)
