Multitool.org is the best

As many of you know, Multitool.org is arguably one of the better, if not best moderated forums around and it has the best information on multi-tools around as well. But even those points would be lost if it wasn't for the high caliber of it's members. Multitool.org is successful I believe because the members here are respectful towards one another, the rules are easy to understand, the moderators aren't ego maniacs, there is plenty of humor, thoughtfulness, and intelligence.

Anyhow, just thought I'd say this cornball stuff and I wish all of you were my neighbors.

Thanks guys, I am glad you all appreciate the work that goes into a site like this. The mods are all great here, and I appreciate how lucky we have been in getting them to volunteer their time here. Since everyone here does a good job of fitting in and being respectful, the mods are free to do other things as well, like working out ways to make the place even better. I would say there hasn't been a promotion, giveaway, event or any other happening here that the mods have not given their input on, and I think that makes the place valuable.

It's tempting on a site like this for the guy in charge to constantly remind people that he's the bigwig and he owns the place, blah blah blah blah, or try to run the place his or her way and that's final, but I always felt that defeated the idea of a forum. I have personally disagreed with many things here, but gave them a chance since others wanted them, and I was wrong, and was happy to admit I was wrong. I don't know everything, and I never professed to, and that's why I've always felt it's important to let members and moderators have a say too!

Not to toot our own horn, but I think that really sets this place apart- there's no ego generating a bunch of pissing matches! If there were, Nikko would win because we all know the Surge is the biggest!

I think its because no one else is sad enough to collect and talk about multitools allday so theres no where else to go

All joking apart this is a great place full of real and genuine people and I've always felt very relaxed and at ease with the members on here .

Hey Mike, welcome to the no life club! Most of us spend that much time on here that we're all regular members anyway, post count or not.

WRT the forum, this is by far (and I mean far far) the best one I've ever been on, for all the reasons you guys mentioned above plus (weirdly) the fact that no thread other than watercooler ones ever stays on topic for more than three posts...

It is a great place isn't it? I've been recruiting people who need a good place to chat and chill (not just my girlfriend!) as I would recommend this site to anyone with an interest in shiny goodness

I will say out of all the forums I have been on this is by far the best. I have stayed here the longest and can say when I am online at home this site is always one that is up the entire time. i never have to worry about fighting or a lot of arguments.
