Thing to wrap around keyring

What's the best thing I can buy to wrap around a keyring to stop it rattling and poking while in my pocket ?
I know there's a few leather and nylon holders which you can buy, I even made one once (not a success). Any ideas ?

Dudes, it´s a science to silence keyrings.

There are some DIY silencers on edcforums, maybe you take a look there.

I tried O-rings, paracord slings and rubberbands, but I did not really like any of the results. So I stripped my keychain, removed useless things and toys and made a minimalist keychain: 3 keys, lanyard, light. Not rattling any more

If it's just keys you want to carry, there was this small type of gizmo (KeyPort or SLOT) that could carry like up to 4 keys; you had to cut them flat on the back and put them in there and they would slide out for use, just like with some car keys.

I have my keys on a carabiner on a belt loop and then tuck them into my back pocket. Seems to work fine and doesn't rattle.

I also hang mine in a pocket, from a belt hanger I made which they clip on to.

I've heard of folks using that shrink tubing stuff to go over the rattly parts.. am I making any sense!?
