Leatherman has never done one blunt nose tool. The closest would be the locking plier tool. please email them and ask that they come out with a blunt nosed model  :D

I wish SOG could make a blunt nose head for their Powerlock models (of others)

Would be awesome just to switch from one head to another depending on the task! Versatility at it's greatest

Why do you want blunt pliers scrappy? Is it because they're stronger?

I ask because I always seem to need the needle nose - one of the reasons I don't use my Swisstool much.
I used to come here a lot.

Me too Dave, I find needle nose pliers to be far more versatile..

gerber is okay. my diesel and to other models are hard to open. one is defectiv for sure. the side thing won't push in. two are brand new. I could send them back if I wanted but I don't care for the impliments much any how. the 600 blunt nose is a real possibility though.. I was just hoping with all the models leatherman has done they would do one blunt nose tool.

good question. needle nose will be more common and I think they should keep it that way but once in a while a blunt nose tool would be nice. I worked on a farm for four years. fencing required twisting wire together with the nose of a plier. it was fast and if you need to break the wire you could just twist it until it breaks off. when I do it with a blunt nose tool it is easier to twist and there is no damage. when I use a needle nose tool the plier noses bend away form each other. I was twisting crafting wire the other day tying dowels together and the core needle nose was bending. it did the job great but those super tiny noses would bend and worry me.

I prefer a blunt nose  most of the time.   My Gerber has never let me down and it has seen lots of abuse. 8)

Basic 600 bluntnose.    I added a scissors out of a pro scout.
