Here in Manila, they have the same price. Which should I get?

If you prefer AA then the TA, but if you like CR123 then TK11. Specs are pretty smiliar.

Zack, I think the TA20 is powered by 2 CR123s.http://www.fenixtorch.co.uk/led_torches/fenix-ta20.html
It has the same size as the TK11, and has variable modes of light output, and has the new look!
The TK11 on the other hand has the old TK10 look, has only the high and low modes. What is interesting is that, it is powered by 18650/2RCR batteries for a longer runtime and has a smooth peel for a farther throw. I think the TK11's circuitry is better than any Fenix lights.

Whoops I stand corrected.  I would still take the TK, not too much into multi modes.

...just kidding, of course.

The things I would consider here are complexity and dimensions...

I personally shy away from unnecessary complexity in a tool, and I would consider the "rotating dimmer switch" unnecessary complexity.  It also adds considerable length to the light, which is something that you need to consider if this light is for EDC.  The TA series is 30mm longer than the TK series.

One reason I would not consider the TA20 is that it isn't compatible with 18650 Li-Ions.  I only use CR123 primaries for storage purposes, so I simply would not use the TA20 if I owned it.  The TA21 and the TK11 would be the models I would select from, for this reason.

'Complexity in a tool'- That's also I was thinking about the TA series. Maybe I'll just settle with the TK series.
Thanks Terry.

You're welcome!

I just noticed that you said they were the same price in Manila.  The TK11 should be much easier to produce than the TA20, so it should be cheaper.  I just wouldn't want you to pay too much for the TK11.
