Whilst I will drink a toast to absent friends I'm a selfish sod so say let's go for it  >:D :D

Seriously, as numbers increase its going to become more and more unlikely that everyone can make it to every meet, I think we are going to have to face that :(

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Thats true.....I must admit that it was tough when Salty could not make it last time.  I knew Ben and Mike would struggle in September and so was not going to offer again, BUT some people have requested another one and so it is not for me to deny it.

I will go on record to say it won't be the same without all of the gang BUT it will still be epic.  :viking:....just a little bit less so.

So....

I VERY much doubt I'll be able to make it I'm afraid guy :(

Not only am I trying to save some dosh to help get my life back on track, I can't say's I'd really want to spend at least 5 hours on the train just getting near there, then cycling the rest of the way :-\

I'd be tired and pissed off before I even got to the meet (not a great traveller, unless I'm at the bars)

Make it further south and I might be able to change my mind :D

Hey there shipmate.....please do not think I own the meet up.  Its just that I have a good site to host one.

Please allow the suggestions to flow as to where we can stay.  I will go anywhere that will have me

Its just that some people have asked about a meet later this year.

OR

We wait until next April/May and have a massive meet for all to attend/plan for  :tu:

Either way its all good

Nick Meets whether full or mini are great and should any members be able to hold one no matter how small then they should go for it . Your last meet was a huge success and I've only heard good things about it and I really wish I could have been there . If you can replicate that again then its a huge bonus for members and this forum  :tu:

Mike and Ben have had a couple of Micro meets and I have also had one with magicbus and these are always very welcome and enjoyable .

I think its time to start talking about next years forum meet in its own thread which I will start shortly  ;)

But I think any members who can make a meet in their area should go for it  :tu: Just take lots of pics and tell us all about bear attacks  ::)

Eek so many fallen so soon :(

Perhaps we can look at having a mini-meet in September and a big one next year?  I'm up for both by the way :D

Right now I could do either of the last two weekends of September.  So that's the 19th-20th or the 26th-27th.  With a bit of re-jigging I may be able to make the 5th-6th.

I can't do the 12th and would prefer to avoid the 20th.  I will point out that the faster we can set a date the better so that I can bag it before my wife does :)

Sorry to bow out gentleman, but for me, as much as I'd love to meet up with you guy's, it comes down to time and money again (both could be remedied if you held the next one in Kent :P)

But as I said after the 08 meet, there's nothing wrong with reginal meet's seeing as most of you live within an hour of one another :)

Umm, depends when it is I suspect. If the kids are back at school it will be less likely for us.

I would certainly be in to it in theory  :D

The schools go back Thursday 3rd September.  Any reason we can't do a weekend the tail end of August?

I could maybe do the 8-9th August or the 15-16th but I'm definitely booked out on the other weekends.

Who'd have thought folks like us would have a life which gets in the way of these matters!

It seems we might be going away over August on and off so it's a willing but unsure yes from us at this point  :-\

If got a massive job on in mid September so that pretty much wipes that month out for me...until the 26th but then I'll have Son of Hedge Kid in tow so best count me out for this one. Sorry guys.

If we had it on the last weekend of September is there any reason (other than he may not want to) that Son of Hedge Kid couldn't come along for a while?

Sharing the forum and mates with me is enough - letting Son of Hedge Kid in on her obsession hobby is a step too far  :D
