its not as bad as I thought , its sore and throbs a bit if I don't hold it up but its not as painfull as I thought it would be after watching just how big they made the wound so they could look inside

infact its no where near as bad as I thought it would be . As long as I don't try and pick anything up ouch lol

Nerve damage sucks. I completely filleted a finger open like a trout and it took 4 years for all the feeling to come back.

You'd have to try very hard to cut your thumb off if you were using the Vic fish scaler.

Honestly the scaler is an excellent tool for basic pumpkin carving.
