The MultiTool Cash Cow Has Left the Building
on: June 26, 2009, 07:26:13 PM
My 1966 225 VC Chrysler Valiant has left me after 12 years faithful service  :( . I did love the old girl but for the last 2 years she has been off the road going into a slow decline. She had been my get to work car (12min drive) but when my sister went to London I bought her beat up 1996 Mitsubishi Lancer with WIDE mags. The Lancer is CHEAP to run & boy does it fly around corners  :D >:D :D(no snide remarks about 1960's Chrysler's please  :D)

A couple of weeks ago a guy was waiting out the front of my house, he had asked to buy my Mopar a year ago & I said no. 12 months latter I say yes  :( :(.
Any ways  $ been in my account a couple of weeks , a nice package from Tim & 2 Al Mars have been had  . But it took the fella awhile to get the trailer to pick the old girl up. She's gone & I am a little sad. The positives ; I got some cool stuff, we have space in the drive way , I do not have to spend $40 a month on insurance(tool $  :D :D) & now the old girl is going to have a bit of love & $ chucked at her.
The Valiant was amazing , bunged a fresh battery in her gave her an extended kick in the guts & she starts up after 2 years off the road & 8 months since I started her :o :o 8) :D

She's gone

"Downunder Mod (that sounds dirty, doesn't it?)"

Just picked up my 62 Land Rover 109 from the shop.  New Brakelines, New Clutch master and slave cylinders and she's ready to go!

Safari top and Overdrive.  Awesome truck.

new cars might get better performance and mileage and all that, but they don't have the style of the oldies...
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.
