Would RCRs damage the light assembly of SF LED?

I'm not sure if these are the AWs, I'm referring to these type of RCRs:

Hello Teofilo,

SureFire recommends against the use of RCRs because they fear damage to their lamps.  However, I've replaced the lamp in my C2 with Malkoff's M60 dropin and Gene Malkoff says RCRs are fine with his lamps.  I'm running two of his M60s with rechargeables and all is fine.

Thanks for the info, Willieboy! This type of drop-in, is it available online?

Thanks for the welcome.  Glad to be here.

The link to the Malkoff dropins is MalkoffDevices.com.  At present, the site is undergoing changes and updates to include new products.  I just tried to get to it and found I had to install Zen Cart on my computer.  Anyway, the link is accurate and if you have Zen Cart or can install it, you should be okay.

Ooops.  I just tried it again and I'm on the Malkoff site.

Good luck.

Update on Malkoff's site.  According to th folks on the CPF, Gene is just having trouble with his site after the updates.  They recommend against buyers installing Zen Cart.  I'm just going to sit tight until they work the bugs out.
