Great concept but I doubt it will inhibit dumbass drivers from slamming in to bikes they haven't looked for in the first place.  ::)

I think you'd need a large X burned across the wind shield/screen to prevent such accidents... dumbasses will be dumbasses no mater what

Depends on where you are I guess. Around here there is barely enough room for one lane each way in the city.

I love the idea of that bike lane, that is a cool toy to add to the bike, I wounder if steet lights and head lights would just wash the like out tho, if so ...
it would still be cool tho.  I do alot of night trail rideing and that would be a kick to have on there doing that, ha
