Am I the only one who thinks the English have a chance at this? ::)  After the first game, where the Aussies so very nearly won, England came back an played a blinder for their win.  I won't be surprised whichever way this goes TBH but I'll be much happier if England take it.

Cricket

Probably only because I'm crap at it :)

My wife watches it but she comes from a cricketing family so I have no choice but to tolerate it  ::)

Is it ironic that the only person who thinks England have a chance is a Scotsman? Where's your pride guys? Sheesh ::);)

You know what makes me laugh?  It looks like that of the 5 people who have voted for the pommes, 2 did so before the match was played, 2 voted on the final afternoon of play (when it was all but certain), and someone has voted after the game finished. ::) :D

That would be me... :D I saw a poll I hadn't voted in and just couldn't resist. As far as the vote is concerned, call it an "educated guess"... ::) :D

The Pommies are the British. They have beaten the Australians at Cricket. This happens quite rarely as it is difficult to play Cricket in the rain because the pitch gets ruined and it rains here most of the time, whereas it has not rained in Australia since 1962 and all Australians between the ages of 3 and 100 are required by law to spend at least 14 hours a day practicing. As their prize the Pommies get to keep some burnt wood for 2 years and are very excited, we will now mock and generally verbally abuse Australians at every opportunity.

This is probably a better explanation:

That only works in PMs as it makes Ben and Gareth cry, what with its rudeness.  If you try and use it on the forum it gets censored.

Watch.. <colourful gesticulation>

Strangely enough though this one hows up fine ..
