Are the implements made of the same material as the other SAKs?

The implements are exactly the same as the ones on the other SAKs.  And, while I don't have one, I have handled several, seen a few more in person and have my eye on one of my very own!  :D

One is a laser, the other is a LED flashlight.

Huh? Does your "Yeah" mean, "Yes, I have one of those"?

I just saw one of these in a glass shelf the other day in an outdoor goods shop. The boss must be a collector. He even has one of those re-issued Wenger original Soldiers.

Looks like it would make for a good hammer, or best paperweight ever, but otherwise a straightforward collector's piece.

a friend has one, he says when you get it, it comes in "styrofoam!" he keeps it on his coffee table
as a conversation piece (in the styro).

I see no reason why not.  Would cost a lot in SAK's though.

Just thought over time picking them up and modding different ones you would have leftover parts and could slowly build a version of one.

I would suggest contacting Tim privately- as with all SAKs, there is a very good chance you'll do better than full retail price with a simple email....

Probably work out a chunk more expensive due to some of the more speSmurfpillsed tools in it.

How heavy are they?

About 1.3Kg  :o
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

More of a backpack than a belt pouch for one of these I suspect.  :D
