I'm pretty certain that the Alox knives use nickle silver pins. I reused the pins from a Farmer to re-assemble my old Electrician.
Would these work?http://www.fastener-express.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=245
I'm put off by the idea of having a tool that pivots around a set of threads.
What am I missing here? You don't want a SAK with a couple of big frankenstein bolt-heads sticking out the side do you? And what would the bolts thread into? Big frankenstein nuts on the opposite side??

Heeeeelllllooooo! You've taken the dive then have you mate?! Good show! Can't wait to see how you button her up. Tell me though if you will, what diameter were the original pins?
Are you going to rivet with stainless rod Neil?....You might need a bigger hammer

Tell me though if you will, what diameter were the original pins?3.1mm , they're probably some exact imperial measurement but that kind of crazy talk scares me

That's good to know (although too damn small to drill and tap like I do the Spirits) I'll throw some potential pin stock in with that package I'm sending you.
