Whenever I get a bit of extra cash I add one or two items to my tool kit. In regards to borrowing tools, three simple words:NO TOOLS LOANED.
Would never lend anyone anything, but ended up doing all the odd jobs or most of my mates cus I was the only one equipped to do them
Did anyone notice he marked his tools with spray paint. When i was a apprentice i worked with large crews that was the only way we could keep track of our tools. Everyone had there own color. Mike
All my cables are labelled with electrical tape (with clear heat shrink over the top to make it more difficult for someone to rip it off) not got round to labelling tools yet as I don't own that many nor do I take them out with me, but it's on the list of things to do I do think Jamie has most of the bases covered but he did seem to be a bit vague about how you actually use some of them, I'm sure he knows what he's doing just not very good at articulating those thoughts
