I built this fireplace poker-blower.

A while back I built this fireplace poker-blower. I sawed the tip off an ordinary fireplace poker, welded it to a tube, heated the tube to bend it that way and welded a washer near the bend so I could hang it on a rack I also built. I'm still open to any other suggestions to make burning stuff in the fireplace easier. I'm thinking about building a fireplace ashtray that takes up the whole fireplace floor so I can lose the ashbucket, shovel and brush.
