Fenix E01 pocket clip

Is there a pocket clip available for the E01? I don't really want to attach my light to a keychain.

That clip is really smurfty. The metal is very thin and soft, doesn't hold onto anything well.

I've used clips off pen type tire gauge, some will fit some are too small, they hold a lot better than fenix one.

It's also kind of expensive. A $5 accessory for a $14 light.

The clip should either have been bundled in and the price raised slightly, or it should be much cheaper. That price is really ridiculous.  :ahhh

Don't forget FelineVet stocks Fenix now. He can probably sort something out for you.

Having said that, I'd follow jzmtl's advice and just snag the clip off a cheap tire gauge or something. My local dollar store had a few things with comparable clips.

What about one for the LD10 - anyone know what would work for that?

I expect an AA Maglite one would work OK.

Is it the same diameter as P3D? If so it'll work but pretty tight. I unbent the two arms a bit so they don't dig into aluminum, and used a snap ring plier to open it and slip on the light.

For practically the same price as the fenix, you can get the streamlight microstream which has a pocket clip, and is much brighter than the eo1. And if you want something that blows away those 2 lights, try this one:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.23994
also has a pocket clip and is by far the brightest aaa light I've seen, even beats many of my aa lights.

Yes, the E01 isn't very bright in comparison to other lights. It is instead designed for extremely long runtimes, which is exactly why I like it.

Brightness vs run-time - everyone must find the balance between the two factors that suits their needs best.

I've been using a Microstream since buying one in May '08. I use it at least several times a day for work and it has held up well.

No problems with the clip bending or slipping off the barrel. the tail switch is fine and the finish has not worn appreciably even though it rubs constantly against a Fisher pen clipped to my shirt pocket.
