Knife and tool storage box
on: August 17, 2009, 04:40:32 AM
Hi all,
This is the knife box I made to store some of my knives in.  Most of the one's I don't use are in here...some name brand some junk, but here it is.  Here you go, Lockpicker!

Very nice, though it looks a little heavy for EDC.  :tu:

Nice pics, grayson.  What was that box originally used for?
This is called a Swiss Army Knife. Do you know what Switzerland is? Switzerland is a place where they don't like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate. - Larry David

I'm not sure what the real name of it is, but it was originally supposed to hold art supplies like paints and pencils and such.  I can't draw a stick figure so I made it more "useful" to me. :D

That hobo knife is just a Japanese something or other that a young friend thought I might like for my collection.

That's actually a good idea. It's less conspicuous so home intruders are less likely to steal your collection.  You should make the box look even more unattractive by writing something on the box like "used kitty litter" or "old dirty underwear for clothing drive".  Noone will look in or even touch that box.

Cool.  It fits your knives perfectly.  :tu:

LOL!  I've already outgrown it.   I'm thinking of getting a regular tool box...one of those one's with the tiers, to keep all this stuff in.  Right now, I have all my other knives and tools in a small tool bag.  I'll keep that one for all the one's I know I won't ever use which is pretty much what's in there now.
Thanks for the compliments.

I use the top drawer of my night stand, but it is already over crowded, so I guess I will have to clean out my craftsman tool chest 3 drawer and start using it, but I doubt the missus will let me keep it in the bedroom.
