Having a good Sunday?
on: August 30, 2009, 04:50:33 PM
Hope we're all having a good day? We decided to chill today after the madness of work yesterday. I'm having fun here, t'other half is doing a crossword. She has a glass of wine and I've got a bottle of Stella. There's a DVD to watch soon so all is well and truly sorted  :D

It rained all stinking day yesterday, which was a waste. I'm looking forward to some nicer weather today. :)

Not quite so for me. Had to miss church because of a bout of diarrhea. I shan't leave any gory details, but it wasn't pretty. Hope you guys had a good Sunday though, mine's ending soon. :)

i think i'll take a nap later.

Started a bit rubbish as my joints were pretty seized this morning but after a hot bath, pain killers and lots of chilling out, it's getting slightly better :)

Got a friend staying and another one turning up later who will be whisking me off to Ireland for a week in the morning.  I did all my packing yesterday too so I'm sorted mostly :D

I'm going to be completing assignments and pre-labs.  What fun.

Also, it doesn't help that I've been sick for three days now; at least I can take a deep breath without pain, once again. ._.

I went to work and got repeated slapped around the face by people I was trying to protect from others trying to slap them (that make any sense ).  Not quite as fun as your day.
I'm back!!

Sorry to hear that Ben  :( I have had a cracking day doing the thing I find hardest to do of all, just chilling. Even on a day off I'm usually up at 5.30am or so, mad  :ahhh

This weekend has been DIY mainly... painting the cabinet that houses our fridge (our kitchen is too small for our fridge to be in it, so it's in a cabinet in the living/dining room) so today involved me putting the 2nd coat of paint... and it looks alright... I'd be happier if I could sand it a bit and put another layer on, but SWMBO is happy as it is...
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

Im on nightes this week (deep joy) so I spent the first half of sunday in bed, trying to sleep through the distant sounds/booming noise drifting to my area from the Notting Hill carnival :ahhh Back in work now waiting for the tube trains to stop so I can close up my station and chill for a few hours. Tomorrow I'll be trying to sleep again when the carnival is having its noisiest day, cant fecking wait :think :surrender:
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
