UK Meet 3 Tool list
on: September 06, 2009, 08:31:47 PM
Dudes and dudesses,

OK, here is where I propose we list what we shall bring and any requests anyone might have.

I will be bringing all of my Wood scaled SAK's, Custom SAK's, neck knives, bushcraft knives and my sebenza.

I would request anyone bring along any decent axes or laplander style saws.

Anyone want me to bring my zippo collection?

Nick

I have a Laplander I can bring.  I don't think I'm going to bring a big case of SAKs like previously, its probably a bit OTT.  I think this time I'll be thematic and bring only my BIG SAKs as they haven't made it out and about before.

I'd like to see your Zippos please Nick if its not too much effort  :tu:
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I'll be bringing my SAK mods, some fixed blades, folders and axes (of course), torches are always fun too. :tu:

Did someone want me to bring along by bow as well?

The very suggestion that I might sort my tools out, as opposed to simply "chucking them in the back of the car" amuses me.

Suffice it to say, I should have Leatherman covered - unless anyone's got a ST300 yet ('cos I don't).

Oh, and I have an axe now, bought for a purpose that ceased to be....
I used to come here a lot.

I knew you'd ask that ;)

It's a Wetterling Scout - not that I researched it at all, it was the cheapest (that didn't feel like a POS) in the shop.

Is it any good?

It seems pretty solidly put together, but I wouldn't know what to look for when comparing axes. I just bought to chop stuff up!

Neil, could you bring your Svord folder?  I've always like the look of them but have never had the chance to look at one in person. :tu:

Can someone bring a Vic Spirit?  I really need to have another look at that one.

Oh and Dave, could you bring your Tilley?  It's my birthday next month and I'm looking for ideas as to what to ask for. :)

I have let Minty loose with it this week while she's away on work, so if I happen to see her before I leave here, I grab it for you!

Our paths might just cross if I get there late I suspect
