You know what I hate about buying SAKs?

Every time I buy one, I gotta run out to buy a small screwdriver for the corkscrew. Doesn't matter if it's a vic or wenger, I just can't stand the sight of an empty corkscrew knowing I can fit another tool in there. I really should just buy a bag of them so I won't have to do it anymore.

Anybody's the same?

I must be weird then, because I can't do that. To me once a screwdriver is paired with a SAK it's part of it, and stays that way unless the knife is getting recycled.

I'm with you , if I have a SAK with a corkscrew , I always give it a resident corkscrew .

  I believe that most of my SAKs with corkscrews have the little screwdriver but I bought a bunch and stuck them in all at once Don't know if I would be upset if 1 didn't have 1

haha, well while I agree if I am carrying one of my EDC's with a CS I always put a mini in it, I only have about three or four to my huge SAK collection. If I really feel compelled to change up my carry to one without the screwdriver, I just rob it from another knife. At ~$3 each I couldn't really afford to outfit my whole collection just for the aesthetic consolation I'd receive from it

Sometimes I even go out without the screwdriver.  I don't wear glasses to frankly I think I may have used it maybe once, and it didn't work too well on the glasses I was using it on.  I have a set of precision screwdrivers in my toolbox at home and in the car if I ever need them.

I don't like them on my older SAK's (Stag Safari Hunter for example) but with others I just rotate the couple I have.

Like most here I have 3 and just move one of them to whatever SAK I'm carrying at the time.  I'm not that bothered about carrying one either, I don't personally wear glasses and I have the fine tip driver on my P4 that could do the job.

Every corkscrew equiped Vic SAK I have has a screwdriver, sans the collectable Huntsman and Spartan I have.  It makes sense, especially since I wear eyeglasses.

I always feel there should be a pin in the pin-hole - don't mind the corkscrew sd missing so much as that dam pin.

Yeah, I like having a pin too. I do usually carry a paperclip and a safety pin or two in my wallet though. Just seems like it's silly not to have the pin in there!
