I have friends with relatives in the area , I attended a wedding where the mother of the groom was unable to attend . I pray that you guys will stay safe , and have enuff clean drinking water after the floods subside .

Multimat,
I believe Donald's house is ok except for the concrete fence beside their house that coplapsed.
At the back of their house is their farm and there is extensive damage to crop and to their piggery.

Thanks for the link to the yahoo news. We are very thankful to the US government for sending relief goods and for the US military for helping in the rescue operations and distribution of the relief good. The 8 CH-46 US hellicopters from Okinawa are of great help. The international community is also helping us now. We cannot tackle a calamity with such great magnitude on our own.

It may again hit the northern part of our country and Donald lives there. However there is the possibility that it will turn towards Taiwan. We hope and pray that the devastated areas will be spared this time.

Somehow I read this as "we hope and pray that Taiwan gets hit"... my mind is funny like that.

Please don't. If nothing else, considering the improbable possibilities that you may have willpower strong enough to affect any sort of weather pattern, you may have a deleterious effect on the Philippines.

Got hit pretty bad not by the storm but by my grandma's passing, she raised me up practically. I'm okay now thanks to the support of friends and family

I'm worried about my countrymen, we are expecting another storm hoping for the best!

Thank God for a sunny week last week! Hopefully the National and the Local Government are more prepared for the storm nothing teaches a lesson than a tragedy sadly
