That I believe to be an old cedar stump.
Dave,
The handle on the bigger Griptilian suited my hands a bit better than the mini.
My main concern was how comfortable the bigger, thicker handle was going to
be in pocket? It seems to be fine.

I've always liked the look of the Grip but I know I'd never carry it.
Cool pics though, especially the first one.

They are solid. I don't like to comment too much about a tool or knife when I first get it because lets face
it excitement takes over and clouds judgement sometimes?
But what I will say is the lock is very
solid and is very well designed and so far I'm have no issues with the knife and am quite happy with the
purchase.

It's a very good knife, but for some reason it never made it into my edc rotation.
Sometimes change is a good thing, other times not so much!
