Maybe one of those ?

 :D

Are you actually going to try use it ?
It is way to big to even try work with it. I think that even SwissChamp XLT is too big to use...

Personally, I'm looking for a way to secure it to my desk, as a useable desk piece.  (maybe a clear Lexan cover that is lockable to the desk.

The tools are surprisingly useable in the beast.  Love the digital barometer too.

Three pouches / sheaths for the Victorinox XAVT

#1  RipOffs  PDA holster ( BL-101 or CO-101)   US$20
The XAVT is in the holster in the photo on the right and  does sit low in the pouch which I believe would require a lanyard attached to the key ring on the knife
BL = sewn belt loop and CO = metal clip on

#2  Nite Ize  Cargo Magnet Clip Case - Small  US$14
The Nite Ize Cargo Magnet Clip Case keeps your gadget arsenal nigh, securing your phone and other items right at your side.
Plastic clip on type belt fastener - Stretch nylon side panels expand to accommodate various thicknesses Magnetic flap closure

#3  LowePro Digital Camera Bag - REZO-15  US$10

Stretchable gusset design provides a tight, protective fit with a low profile design. Soft tricot lining protects the SAK's LCD from scratching.
SlipLock attachment tab with security snap allows the flexibility to securely attach to a belt or purse
Front accessory pocket provides quick access to spare battery, bandages,or other small accessory.

Initial inpression of what I will be using is the LowePro case - time will tell.

Yeah the LowePro looks good.
You have to tell us when and how you used the XAVT.
If I would need to open a screwdriver with the philips screwdriver on my XAVT I would prefer to open it with my teeths  :D How can you turn such a huge SAK ?

For the record I personally have no intention of carrying the beast but I'll play along ..

Lowepro D-Res 8S is a good fit with nice amount of protective padding around it.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

A much cheaper alternative..

20p from a carboot sale.  I seem to recall seeing them in Tesco for around 99p new.

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I don't know if Andy Tiedye (is that his real name?) is a member here, but he showed that the XAVT fit well into a Handcuff case which I thought was pretty clever.

Definitely a member here.  Haven't seen him about recently though...

I think Andy mentioned something about being away on a trip or something. He would definitely be commenting on some of these great collector's items if he was within earshot.  :D

I have been searching through a LOT of different camera/electronics pouches to carry my EDC stuff in. There are a lot of great belt pouches out there.

The storage compartments tend to conform to standard dimensions though, so there is not a tremendous amount of variety in size.

After weeks of searching, I found a pouch I am pretty happy with. It was only $3 at a small import store and I have never seen a similar one anywhere else.

Unfortunately, they only had one for sale, and I really, really hate the colour.   :ahhh :D

Bought this monster a week ago with original leather sheath and carry it on my belt without any problem, it's not that heavy as one might think...

In 2585 I traded a XAVT with the 2345 Zytrix Cloaking Mod and 2465 London defense shield mod, and nutrino cutter for a Vintage Tardis with the old Venton Field Stabalizers and the amazing cy2 antimatter collector. It's a bit temperamental, but probably saver than relying on the XAVT intergalactic navigator in an Ibach Cruiser.

I could see getting one as a collector's item.  Just like the Wenger Giant, every time I see one I think it's like seeing an old man driving a Corvette.  An attempt to try to make up for certain inadequacies.   :D :D :D
