Hey thanks all for the info. I was just a wee bit curious when I didn't see the Rostfrei thing going on. Ben,Did you move me? Where had I posted originally? Thanks bud.
HiIn the 1976 catalogue page it is written that the blades is made form drop forged Swedish steel, from my info drop forged means steel that is pressed hot or cold into shape with machines with high pressure.Today the steel is delivered from another supplyer, maybe Germany. The steel is Martensitic stainless steel with the specs sad in this topic above. The steel comes in huge rolles and is stamped out polished i into specs, then comes the annealing hardening, grinding and all the Victorinox secrets ofcourse.Absolutely incredible steel if you ask me.http://www.sakwiki.com/tiki-browse_image.php?imageId=922&highlight=1976NM
