What would you like to see on a pocket tool???

OK, the last few days I've been thinking about this. I've been on a "Survivorman" kick lately and convinced I need a woodsaw to go to the store to buy Moonpies. I might break down and have to survive in the woods for a few days. I'd like to see someone invent a small woodsaw that you can attach to your keyring. I'm assuming it would have to fold in some way to cover the teeth when not in use. And I'm sure it'd probably be at least 3-4 inches long. I'm going to do some thinking about this. Who knows, maybe I can come up with an idea.

I wouldn't bet on it though.

He's right. They'll work on little stuff, not so good on bigger stuff--1 inch diameter would be max. And they tend to break.

I've got my Farmer, I was just thinking of a keychain piece in case it got lost or something. Well that and it'd just be something else to spend money on.

You could take the saw off of 108mm knife and keep the saw cover. Then attach that you your keys and you'd have a largish saw, bottle opener, and can opener. But a saw that small would very hard to use with out handle. I guess you could make a simple handle out of a notched stick and wrap it duct tape, just have to careful not to torque it too much.
