It is such a shame they don't make them anymore.. I carry a regular Vise-grip with me all the time but the 5wr toolbox will be really really nice!  :pok: :pok:

Thank You my five girls chipped in and bought it for me one year for  fathers day. I think it cost 25.00 dollars at the time that was big money or maybe i did not have much money at the time and it seamed like a lot to me. :D Most of you guys know what i am talking about when you have kids they are always in need of something. So thats were most of my money went. I always though of it as a labor of love.

good luck, shcrade made three models but each model had two different implement options. there are 6 models total. I have one of each and love them. the needle nose comes with a can opener on one model and the other has a scrapper blade I believe. the 5wr came with a clip point blade or another model came with a warncliff / sheep foot's blade.

I didn't know there are that much variations!

Does anyone want to do a trade with this 6WR I just got for your 5WR??
I just prefer the smaller 5WR for an everyday carry.

I posted a couple of eebaay auctions I had found for the needle nosed version which is the Schrade ST6HP. The less expensive one got bought by someone, hopefully one of us. There is still a Schrade ST6hp up for "Buy it now", doesn't look like it comes with a sheath or anything, but the tool looks in great shape. A little pricey if you ask me, but not horrible since they are hard to come by. Here's the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/SCHRADE-ST6HP-VISEGRIP-MULTITOOL-NEW-MADE-IN-THE-USA_W0QQitemZ350261959513QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item518d3d5b59

But to be completely honest. I think people are money and versatility ahead by having a good multi-tool paired with a separate 4 or 5 inch vise grip and pocket knife. That's what I do, but you ain't me either. :D Best of luck with your search.

Not my sale, nothing to gain or lose.

Couple of things I have learned while finding the various vise grip type tools is what to search for. I have had some success using these three terms:

1) vise grip - proper term
2) vice grip - because some folks don't get the difference between "vise" and "vice". "Vise" is for something that clamps, "vice" is something you do/have to annoy your wife. :D
3) locking pliers

Throw in Schrade somewhere maybe as well.

Best of luck!
