what do you look for in a mate?

In class today we talked about what we look for in the opposite sex:

The women answered:
Shoes
Teeth
Nails (good me I always carry a SAK with a nail file

)
And being able to talk to her while keeping eye contact

The men answered:
Not being dressed like a slut (But he also looked at there panties

)
And femininity

So this got me thinking and so I wondered what do you look for in a mate?

See where the road separates the green pasture from the brown soy bean field at the center of the picture? BossLady shot a rabid raccoon on the move from that distance, (actually 180 degrees from that corner, downhill too, but same distance) with a 22 rifle.

I'm more surprised by the women in your class than I am the men. Attraction is such a fluid and subjective thing that it's really hard to say that x, y, and z (or more) characteristics are what makes up attraction. There's also a difference between attraction and what someone wants in a life mate. Instantaneous attraction is what was asked in your class. What someone looks for in a life mate might be a lot different....well builds on initial attraction I guess. Just because you have an instant attraction for someone doesn't necessarily make them a good mate and vice versa.
