Some Battery Help Please
on: November 17, 2009, 12:12:22 AM
I'm a bit miffed at the moment. I just retrieved my Blackhawk / Night-Ops torch from the central console to find the batteries are totally dead, after no use at all :( I'm not sure how that's happened, but I'm assuming the tail-switch has been pressed and drained them. I've put new batteries in and all seems good, and that leads me to my question....

Here in the UK, what's the cheapest method / source for CR123 batteries? I know nothing about these things at all, so any advice / pointers gratefully received - thanks :tu:
I used to come here a lot.

I know you said in the UK, but I buy Tenergy cells from 4sevens in packs of ten.  With the free shipping they work out well.
I'm back!!

Those are the cheapest I have ever found (with postage all factored in) and I have had good results with those cells.
I'm back!!

That's going to take some beating Ben thanks :tu:

I assume they perform as well / long as the branded batteries?

I have used them in both single cell and double without any problems and they seem to perform just as well and just as long as any energizers I have tried (I am sure some flashlight nut will come in with some graph to prove otherwise  :D) and with the cost factored in, I won't be buying another brand.
I'm back!!

When getting CR123s avoid the Chinese ones.
