Its common in Europe.

Common might not be quite the right word but yeah, it's still available new.

It along with a couple more smaller ones like it were listed at one time in the Wenger Swiss website so they must have been for release in Europe and the rest of the world. I have the Esquire sized one of these. They are scaled in solid aluminum with the special "coffin" style ends. They also make a smooth end version too. Couple photos;

I don't understand why we can't get them(and others like evo minathor) in North America.

The Wenger coffins are cool.  If you think they look good buy one but don't grab one for functionality, they weigh a ton compared to the plastic scaled counterparts.

I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I think I saw that 2000 model on Felinevet's store at one time. Rare knife indeed.   :tu:  Not sure how many were produced but I have only seen maybe 3. Do you have any detailed info on that model and what all the designs mean?  :think:

I think maybe we should be calling them "Octagonal" since a coffin shape is tapered down towards one end.

Yep it came from Tim.   According to the little certificate in the box the fossil represents prehistory, the cog the industrial revolution and the chip the advancement of technology in the late 20th century.
