They only fade if you expose them to sunshine (there evil nemesis!) so if your not planning on flashing it around, go for something nice and detailed, as your gonna have to live with it a loooong time :)

As for the text, got to be High Gothic hasn't it :D

Now that I didn't know.  BTW I don't have any tats myself so feel free to ignore me but I rather feel the plain black or even the black with red highlights(Image removed from quote.) feels like a exercise in graphic design rather than a bit of artwork.  If I was going to have an image to carry around with me for the rest of my life I know I'd prefer it to be a work of art.

I know from talking to friends who have had work done the main thing is to find a tattooist with a good reputation and sit down and have a good long chat, work on the image until you are totally happy.  "that'll do" is not the same as "that's perfect".

Awesome idea too.  With the traditional dragon.

That's some very nice ink Nuphoria! reminds me of the style of stuff the girls on LA Ink did... ( Kim Saigh, Hannah Aitchison ) proper quality... In fact I always thought I'd let either of them or Corey Miller take my idea and run with it, but no way would I let Kat Von D tattoo me...

Kat's great if you like the black and grey portrait stuff, certainly wouldn't go to her for something colourful.

My work was mostly done by a lady called Jo Harrison here in the UK, but she's mostly in the US at the moment on tour (and surfing :))

Cheers for all the ideas and suggestions guys (any more ideas keep 'em comin!).  I'm going to book some time with an artist next week hopefully and go through some ideas and get some sketches done.  I'll keep you updated :tu:

Thats a serious tattoo Chris, how long did that take?
