Streamlight Microstream. Nice light.
What I'd love is a Fenix E01 with a tail switch, but as I don't think that exists I'm open to suggestions. Priorities are:*tail switch*single AAA cell*10 or so lumens*long as possible run times*in the same price range as the E01, about £12 here.I'm flexible about the brightness and run times but the rest are a must. Not asking too much am I?
That is exactly what the Serac S1 is. A Fenix E01 with a tailswitch.

I just compared the S1 to both of my E01s, and they appear to have the same output. Maybe your S1 won the LED lottery?
Akoray K103 fits most of those descriptions, but blows away the others in terms of lumens/brightness & throw. not sure about the runtimes, but this is a great light for the $
That's weird. My Fenix E01, which is about 10 lumens, runs on a single NiMH AAA for hours and hours and hours. I know that because I wanted to discharge a few AAA batteries and it took me days. The statemenent "11 hours in sun mode plus 10 hours in moon mode" is absolutely true. Now, the Monarch is about 16 lumens... but gives you just 2 hours of runtime?! I'm guessing they wrote '2' but they meant '20'. But I'm guessing here. A.
same price range as the E01, about £12 here.
Well I got the Monarch through today and I have to say I'm impressed. Even with the Alkaline cell this came with the light output is better looking than the advertised 16 Lumen would suggest. I suspect this is due to the fact it has a pretty tight, bright spot and not much spill which is fine by me. I'll post some more thoughts once I've had a good play with it. PS Thanks to Ringzero for suggesting it.
