Hi all,
Well I'm now 2 SAK's less than I had an hour ago.  But I'm not upset about it.  First, I gave my Mountaineer with it's new blue scales (thanks Saz!) to Kim.  She's been drooling over those scales since I put them on and she loves the knife so I gave it to her. 
The other went to one of Kim's classmates/friends.  This girl is very sweet and while they were studying tonight I was doing my weekly "maintenance" on my SAK's (cleaning, oiling, that kind of stuff).  She was genuinely interested in what I was doing and all the different knives.  She thought that the climber (my red one not the stay glow...I wouldn't give that one up) was the coolest thing ever and was talking about how she really wanted to get one etc etc...so before she left I gave it to her.  I showed her all the tools, how to close it properly, etc and made her promise to bring it to me if it got dull rather than use it.  She was really grateful and very happy.  So I'm two SAK's lighter now but feel pretty good.

I have a stockpile of SAK's mainly recruits and tinkers, that I have recieved from trades to sweeten the pot, just for that occasion.

Giving a SAK to a person who's never owned one is a worthy and satisfying gift indeed.  SAK - the gift that keeps on giving.

Actually, just wiped out and still in bed but getting slightly better I think. Keeping a close eye on my lungs as the cough seems to want to slip south a little which I would like to avoid

I"m sorry you're still felling puny but improving.  Which Star Trek?  Are you getting some Borg eyecandy or Jadzia?    Feel better sweetie.    We're all thinking of you and hoping for a speedy recovery.

Sadly only a bit of DS9, but at least I got me a portion of Jazdia in that deal
