Burton-Mcall have moved there maglite parts form.  Anyone got a new URL, I can't find a link from their homepage.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I'd be tempted to just give them a call. :call:

That's always an option.  I was just hoping to avoid the "no not that bit, the metal bit that sits in the plastic bit that bulb leg goes into" type conversation :)

When they had the online parts page I ordered a new lense for my AAA mini, they managed to send me an o-ring instead. ::)  Calling them might still be a better option.

Point taken, though it worked well when I needed a new switch in my 6D.

Slow down a bit.  I'm a bit confused, which bit do mean?  Is it the bit that sits in the other bit, supporting the main bit?  Drill bit?  ARGH!  :ahhh

That's the part I need a replacement for.  That and a 2XAA lens and a 2XAAA lens.  I've tried ringing but just got an answer phone so I've dropped their customer services an email along with the above picture.

I'll keep you posted.

Well the replacement lens arrived OK, however instead of the little black part pictured (and yes I attached said pic to my email as well) they sent me a spare-bulb holder to fit in the tail  ???

I've emailed them back to thank them for the lens and point out the error but haven't heard anything back as yet (two weeks and counting).

Well after that above cock-up I sent them a email and asked for a new lens.  I didn't get a reply but exactly one month later I just got the new lens through the door. :)

Well, I never did get the holder part, or a reply to my email :(

I suppose its a case of what do you expect for free.
