I've never gotten black hands from a oxide tool before.  Is it that leatherman your talking about?
All the black oxide tools I have had the coating has scratched off from time to time cutting
or bumping into various things but I cannot remember every having it rub off onto my hands.
Maybe someone else can chime in here.  ???

People frequently complain about the black on there hands.  A good wipe with alcohol should get rid of it.
I'm back!!

I take a microfiber cloth and just spend a few minutes really rubbing it down, just do it while watching tv.  Before long I have a black rag, but a smooth bo.  I had to do it to my Fuse when I got it, as it would rub off in my hands.

Wear this Saturday night, put the tool in your pocket and go dancing. Should wear the excess BO off by the end of the night.

I thinking with skin tight polyester pants, you'd be getting a lot of:

"Is that a multitool in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"
Never underestimate the power of the fleece
