Loose Plier Head On A Fuse
on: December 17, 2009, 03:23:35 PM
I've been using a Leatherman Fuse as my EDC multitool for around a year or so now, Its never been badly abused but...The plier head has gotten so loose it cant even cut a paper clip now.
The pliers just spreads apart and bends the paper clip into a S shape. With my fingers I can make the tips of the needle nose pliers offset by 50% without much effort.
The tool still looks brand new even the plier head.

That being said, has anyone else had this happen?
And if I send it back how long does it take to have it returned back to you?
Anyone in Canada sent tools back to leatherman and did you have to pay duty fees to bring it over the border?

Yes, Leatherman does have a warranty center in Canada. You can find the address here:

http://www.leatherman.com/customer-support/warranty.aspx

I have used them twice already and they have fast, good service. Just make sure you send your tool via a trackable shipment with insurance. They cannot be held responsible for tools that never reach them.

And if you print postage online even the basic shipping including tracking and $100 insurance.
