its the older combo edge blade.  They probably need to make room for the newer plain edged blades.  Or it could be a fluke...not the first time we've seen that here.

Yeah, their prices are quite wonky, let's see if our items ship, or if we all receive refunds from Amazon and talk to the BBB about the company. :/

They don't have much feedback, and some prices seem to be spot on but others are way out there.  A SOG AEGIS for 709.00, thats a bit extreme.  And sharpmakers for 18.19 thats a steal and half...I guess we will see if they honor it...kinda like the cybertools from a few months back.

You know, I need to get a sharpmaker one of these days.  Oh well, lol.

Here is their LM page on their actual store front.  Prices are different than what is listed on Amazon...I now have a very bad feeling about this.

How did you pay?  I just called them and left a message to call me back.  We will see what they have to say.  I thought I was done with christmas shopping, and someone was going to get some cool tools...now they will have to get a snuggie...sucks to be them.

Hmm, anyone notice their "Handling period from 4 days to 5 weeks sometimes applies?"  Seriously, wtf? :/

I wish you guys that ordered these the best of luck.  I've tried to get in on several "suspiciously low" deals like these in the past, and most of them ended in canceled ordered.

I hope you guys get these, a Skeletool CX for under $20 shipped is a steal.

Ok got a message back from the stating something about files and prices being mixed up.  I am calling back to see if they are going to honor any of the orders and if not what they are going to do about it.

Thought so, they already took the amazon listing down, and probably will just cancel the order. I'm not going to lose any sleep over it if they do thou, that was just too good to be true.

I'm curious to hear what it is.  As of now, they've completely removed their stock from Amazon's pages, all 1,000+ items. >.>

[Edit:  Jie, you ninja'd me. ;_;  :twak:  :D]

And no, I'd not lose any sleep over it, either, though it would've been interesting trying out a Maxpedition Versipack. >.>;

Just got this email from Amazon and Red Flare:

  • I just don't know what went wrong.
I don't know what you people expected... it's kinda unfair of you to expect them to give you freebies for a software error through another party's website. :P

Still, if they don't reverse the credit card charges, /they/ will be the ones receiving freebies.  Their email and Amazon's email both stated that my card would not be charged, yet I have a pending transaction with Amazon through the card on which I put the purchase.  If it's not reversed by Thursday, I'm contacting Amazon and having them put a snarfstorm upon Red Flare. -_-

[Edit:  I sent Red Flare an email, anyway, asking when my card's charge of $99.80 will be reversed; let's see what they say and what they do.  If I have to get Amazon involved, I'll be sending a red flag of Red Flare to the BBB. -_-]

Mine's showing up as temporary authorization, which works like a placeholder to hold the funds on your card, but if it ever go through I'm going to stop the payment.

Not expecting a freebie, but at least pretend to be sorry like "here's a 5% off coupon to our website".

I totally disagree. If they are too careless to check stuff, they deserve everything they get. As a Security and GRC consultant, I'd be more than happy to charge them heavily for advice on avoiding such risks in the future. In exchange for lots of money. Or multis :D

I used to come here a lot.
