Feedback asked!
on: December 19, 2009, 01:01:15 PM
Hello mates!
As a result of some feedback I got here and in emails I decided to try and add a short English summary to most of my reviews in my Blog. Today I added a review on the new Spyderco Meerkat and wnat to know if you guys thinlk the English version is OK, or if I should do something different.

I plan on doing an English blog with all the reviews in more detail some time, but I´m quite busy now, so this is a projekt for 2010...

Here´s the link. Some older reviews have an English summary too, most not.

Thanks for your feedback!

Looks good to me, but English is not my first language either. So this reply is pretty useless to you  ::)  ;)

Very well done Woz! :salute: The english summary was well composed and had a nice flow to it. Spelling and word use was close - about 98% perfect. A nitpicking edit would be as follows:

ENGLISH REVIEW:

The Spyderco Meerkat found its way over the ocean to good old AUstria Austria in a much too large box. I was a little confused why they would ship a tiny knive knife in such a big box, but when I opened it I found my answer: The They shipped it opened!
The secret of the Meercat is the invisible Phantom Lock. There are no liners, Springs, Bolts or whatever visible, but the blades is are locked in place. To anyone not familiar with the knife it is hard work to find out how to close it. To everyone who knows the secret, its so simple ;) Just use your thumb to push one of the handle scales forward and the lock is released. Simple, effective and fun!

The specs can be found in the German review above. I highly recommend the Meerkat as a nice small and lightweight EDC blade with an extra secret!

Funny thing is though Woz, you're write up is done better than most people from English-speaking countries could have done! :salute: (or wait a minute, maybe that isn't funny....?) :P :D
