I have some of the blue loctite that comes in a red bottle . Its very good stuff but you have to heat the screw up to undo it .dunc

No heat was needed to undo the locking effect, handtools with a little more force would do the trick.
It doesn't actually need to be super-strong really, just enough to stop the bolts undoing themselves when you open / close the tools Chewing gum would probably work
