Dragonfly VG10 FRN for 30 bucks
on: October 15, 2009, 02:14:13 AM
My all time favorite Spyderco model for a very decent price:

Great ergonomics, lightweight, and sheeple friendly for EDC.

Downside to this model is the molded clip, but it can be comfortably carried loose in a pocket.

I just received one for Christmas and I can't say enough about it. It's an outstanding knife and it only weighs 1.2oz.  :o It's going right into my edc rotation. I agree with you on the clip, but I don't think I'll use it anyway. This knife solves a whole bunch of problems for me edc wise. I can take this out just about anywhere and nobody will even care at all. My wife always cringes when I take out a big folder to open mail, boxes, etc... Maybe this knife will make her happy.  :D  Anyway, I highly recommend this knife!   :tu:

Spyderco should make a slippie version for you guys in the UK.  Man do the UK laws stink!  ::)

The Pride would be closest size wise.  Shame they never did that in FRN or even G10.
I'm back!!

The clip works OK on thicker fabrics like denim or flannel, but I wouldn't trust it to hold with thinner fabrics like dress slacks or shirts.

D'fly is great for office type environments.  At least it doesn't seem to frighten the sheeple when I pull it out.

Believe it or not, I've had sheeple complain about my Boker Trance and KaBar Dozier.  Both of which look inoffensive to me since their blades are 3 inches or less in length.
