Seven days with Lady Squirt

Day 1

"Seven Days with Lady Squirt".

Sounds like a new Netflix series, doesn't it?  I was going to call it Mr. Squirt, but that just didn't sound right.  So Lady Squirt it is.  That doesn't sound right either, but I'm okay with that.  Pretty much any word followed by "squirt" doesn't sound right.  Baby squirt.  Puppy Squirt.  See what I mean?    A reliable source at Leatherman HQ told me that "Squirt" barely won out over "Burp" and "Fart".  Little Timmy Leatherman has a real sense of humor.

Here are a few archived pics to get the blood warmed up.  Action shots to follow.


You know which one is the Squirt.


I'm pretty sure that red is my favorite.  Or maybe its blue.  Or black.  I'm sure its one of those.


"Can't we all just get along?"


Note the sexy torx fasteners on the first Squirts (can I say "first squirts"?). They were deemed to be too sexy, so the Multitool Licensing Administration put a halt to it.


This combo is hard to beat for a lightweight urban carry package.

I have noted elsewhere that I'm one of these people who carries much and uses little.  So I don't get a lot of legit action shots.  That's why I supplement with kitties.

I think I like the purple best of all, although the pink, orange and yellow also have a certain appeal  :pok:

After a rough week of making pancakes and opening birdseed, I thought that Lady Squirt would enjoy a relaxing day in the sun.  She was quite grateful.  Just look at her smile.

Day 7


Earlier today, Lady Squirt wanted to visit Cave Hill cemetary in Louisville, Kentucky.  Sadly, she was turned away at the gate because they were preparing the grave for some guy named Muhammad Ali.  I told her that Colonel Sanders was also buried at Cave Hill.  When I told her that I had met both the Colonel and Muhammad Ali, she was totally unimpressed.  I guess that chicks don't care that much about fried chicken and boxing.


Undeterred, we moved on to Eastern Cemetery on the adjoining property.  Lady Squirt asked me to take a couple of pics of the funny and strange names she saw.


Lady Squirt was totally fascinated to consider that this total stranger, Peter Funk, was 8 years old when John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died, and very well may have fought in the U.S. Civil war.  Lady Squirt made a joke about "Peter Funk", but I can't repeat it here.


Lady Squirt wondered how and why this woman was named Pocahantas.  Was her husband really 114 years old, or did someone fail to attend to his gravestone?


After a busy morning contemplating life's mysteries, Lady Squirt had a refreshing fresh kale salad which quickly restored her midi-chloreans.  An extended nap in her master's pocket completed her afternoon.
